Our best dinner in Olhao so far. 2nd time there and still exquisite 3 years later. Berlin balls are exceptional. The shrimp lasagne was perfect. And the best deserts in town. My daughter loved her clams. We have 9 more days in Olhao, we will be back for more. The two young servers were so professional for people so young.

A truly great restaurant – highly recommended! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The starters were excellent – fresh and full of flavor. The cataplana was also delicious, perfectly cooked and well seasoned. We’ll definitely be coming back!

So long as you like shrimp (or prawns if you're British), you'll love it here. Innovative menu and beautiful presentation, plus friendly service. Everything we ate was delicious and it made for a great celebration evening. Prawn tacos and burgers were amazing. We would have loved to try everything on the menu!

Excellent restaurant! Best food we’ve had so far in Portugal. The staff are lovely and all smiles. The food is fresh, flavorful, and unique. In particular, we really loved the scallops and shrimp tacos. We enjoyed the experience so much, we will return for a second night. Highly recommend visiting this lovely establishment.

We had a wonderful experience at Maré - Shrimp & Stuff in Olhão. A special thanks to Stephanie, the hostess, who was incredibly welcoming and accommodating. She kindly took care of our special food request with such flexibility and a great understanding of our needs and expectations. The entire staff showed a high level of professionalism and maturity, making us feel right at home. It’s rare to find a place that blends delicious food with such genuine hospitality. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!

Probably one of the most interesting meals we had during our trip to the Algarve! The highlights were definitely the berliner doughnuts filled with fish and the shrimp lasagna, as well as the seafood polenta and the octopus cataplana, we had a set menu for a table of 10 and the service was amazing, also rather cheap given the feast we were offerred! Highly recommend!

Well, it was all or nothing on the fish front tonight for me. I needed to be more adventurous and this restaurant blew both of us away with its flavoursome dishes. We share two starters - shrimp tacos,and shrimp Berlin balls. This was followed by sea bass & steak with prawns. The meal was epic - so fresh fruity and just the right amount. The service was excellent

Everything was terrific. Tacos, burgers, Berlin balls, lasagna were all amazing. I wish we had time to stay for desert! The restaurant is beautiful, the service was unbelievably friendly and proactive and they were great with our kids. We cannot recommend Mare enough.
